Week 6 lines

Seahawks at home, no matter the number

The key pick continues to kill me, but I did manage to go 9-5 last week despite missing on Cincinnati by a mile.  (And for the record, yes, I had Houston last night.  At least we got a good game.

Lock of the week is SEAHAWKS -8 at home against the Cowboys.  I like Dallas a lot, but I like Seattle at home a lot more.  They're 14-4 there against the spread dating back to 2012.  Expect a similar game to Monday night, where Dallas keeps it close but the 12th man helps Seattle pull away at the end.

As for the rest of the slate . . .



Broncos - 9.5 over JETS: I've picked the Jets as 7+ point underdogs one too many times this year.  It ends today.

BROWNS -2 over Steelers: Pittsburgh got pretty lucky to beat Jacksonville, and Cleveland had one of those season-changing wins last week.

TITANS -6 over Jaguars: Can't take Blake Bortles on the road

FALCONS -3 over Bears: Tough one here but Atlanta plays very well at home.

Packers -3 over Dolphins: Green Bay, along with Indy, playing up to BQB Super Bowl pick - form

Lions -1.5 over VIKINGS: Too much uncertainty in Minnesota, and this seems like the year that Detroit wins games like this instead of blowing them (last week's random loss to Buffalo notwithstanding).

Panthers +7 over BENGALS: No AJ Green, Carolina coming off an inspiring win against Chicago, Cincinnati licking their wounds after last week

BILLS +3 over Patriots: Don't underestimate the Buffalo crowd in this one.  Should be a great game.

BUCS +3 over Ravens: Don't look now, but Tampa has looked downright respectable with Mike Glennon at the helm.

Chargers-7 over RAIDERS: I admit it, I was wrong on San Diego.  Might challenge Denver for the division.

CARDINALS -3.5 over Redskins: The Redskins played their A game Monday night and still lost by double digits.  Arizona could start Jake Plummer at QB and win this one by a TD.

Giants +3 over EAGLES: NYG on a roll.

Niners - 3.5 over RAMS: Seems like one of those games where San Fran possesses the ball for 40 minutes and Kaepernick converts every 3rd-and-7 on a roll-out play.
