Week 5: Thursday Night Pick

We'll be back tomorrow with the week 4 review / week 5 preview and picks.  For now, we like the Cardinals -2.5 tonight, both against the spread and to win straight-up, with a pretty high degree of confidence.  (We haven't run the numbers yet, but I would suspect this game will be in the top 4 or 5 in terms of our confidence level among the 14 games this weekend.)

While we think St. Louis is sneaky-good (or at least sneaky-not-that-bad), their offense is the worst in the league according to Football Outsiders.  Meanwhile, Arizona's defense is ranked sixth.  Translation: St. Louis might struggle to get into double digits.
